The Jack Tar

This copious bucket bag has space for an almost infinite amount of stuff. Make it in traditional British oilskin, sturdy canvas, cotton drill or denim. Fully lined with 3 divided internal pockets. The most useful of bags.
Finished measurements length 43cm, width 47cm.

Fabric, matching thread, 2.5cm wide leather strap (70cm), 4 x rivets (approx 9mm), 2 x 2.5cm D-rings, 1 x magnetic clasp, 1m webbing for the handle (optional).
Sewing machine, fabric scissors and fabric pins.
Helpful: Tailors chalk, pattern weights, rotary cutter and cutting matt, an un-picker, iron and an ironing board.
Wovens; oilskin, dry oilskin, mid-heavy weight cotton canvas or drill, mid weight denim (8-14oz).
A simple cotton or duck canvas is recommended for the lining.
