ABOUT ARCHIVE
Archive is a catalogue of printable PDF sewing patterns by independent designers
Archive was born from a desire to connect sewing pattern designers and sewers. It is a platform where creatives can find a large range of patterns and independent designers can showcase their designs. Archive is driven to advance the slow fashion movement. The pieces in the ever-expanding catalogue are all designed to last.
At Archive, we believe clothes are meant to live a long life, make you feel fabulous and are to be treasured. We encourage creating sustainable and ethical clothing with longevity. We hope to excite experienced sewers and inspire curious beginners to learn to sew.
Archive is a creative community hub
Aside from being a catalogue of digital sewing patterns, Archive is a space where fellow sewers and designers can connect. In the community section, you can find links to sewers and indie designers offering sewing techniques, workshops, slow fashion info and much more. At Archive, we want to inspire people to learn to create garments they can wear with pride and treasure forever.
About Archive’s founder
Amy’s path is one of creative exploration and discovery. Her curiosity for all things creative and her love for art and fashion know no limit. She studied Fine Arts and Fashion Design. After which she ran a clothing and accessory label in Melbourne which was stocked in Australia and New Zealand. Her passion for sustainable, slow fashion and beautiful textiles is found in the many custom made garments she has created for clients and for herself. Her dream is to share the love for sewing with the world through her travels and Archive.
