Lila Swirl Dress and Top
PDF sewing pattern for the Lila Swirl Dress and Top.
This pattern and tutorial allow you to create a top and a midi length dress with bias tape finishes and gathering at the top for a maximum swirl effect.

Intermediate
Main fabric, matching thread, one button, elastic cord, and 2m x 2cm pre-folded bias tape (or you can make your own).
Woven fabrics; from lightweight to mid-weight linen, silk, cotton twill or a soft cotton shirting.
You may also want to use a combination of two different fabric with a sheer fabric for the upper layer such as organza or an embroidered tulle and a lining such as cotton voile, silk/satin, crepe, any soft, natural woven fabrics with a good drape.
For fabric 150cm wide:
Top:
18 to 24 Months: 0.9m
24 to 36 Months: 0.95m
4 to 5 Years: 1m
6 to 7 Years: 1.05m
8 to 9 Years: 1.1m
10 to 12 Years: 1.2m
Dress:
18 to 24 Months: 1.1m
24 to 36 Months: 1.25m
4 to 5 Years: 1.3m
6 to 7 Years: 1.4m
8 to 9 Years: 1.5m
10 to 12 Years: 1.6m
